I bet you're just dying to know what I chose, so here is some fabric eye candy for you!
For my curtains and one pillow cover:
One throw pillow cover each:
I ordered a sample of the first fabric, which I love, and am hoping the other three I chose will compliment it nicely. Being that they're from the same line, Premier Prints, the grey shouldn't be too far off. Even if they aren't exactly the same, I can always claim it was on purpose!
My apron fabric choices are a little more bold and fun, and I'm really excited to see them in person. I don't think the blues will match exactly, but they'll be close enough.
(yes, this is the same pattern as one of the cushion fabrics I chose. I just love it so much!!)
(I love chevron, what can I say?)
In total, I ordered eighteen yards of fabric (the window I'm making the curtains for is very large) and my total, including ridiculously expensive shipping, was just over $150. For A's benefit, because I know he's reading, that's at least 50% less then what I would have spent had I bought the curtains and cushion covers retail.
That makes me very excited.
Now, lets hope I don't screw them up!
(Just a heads up if you're needing to place a fabric order; I found a coupon code for 10% off of an order of $40 or more. It's corner13. I have no idea how long it's good for, but it's worth giving it a shot!)
I have the top fabric as a roman shade in my bedroom! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI've considered that top fabric for my room as well!
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your sewing. I made some pillow covers and have been really happy with them. I have one more set waiting to be made.
My mom has made me a couple of aprons, but I haven't made one yet. It's on my to-do list, too!
I'm pretty sure that's a pretty awesome price for 18 yards of fabric!! What kind of fabric did you get for these projects?
ReplyDeleteLove your choice.. I think I'm going to be decorating our basement in grey, yellow and aqua so those are right up my alley.
